01.Divine Litugy
The Divine Liturgy (Kidase) is the central worship service of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, rooted in ancient Christian tradition. Through prayer, chanting, Scripture, incense, and the Holy Eucharist, the faithful gather to worship God in reverence and unity.
02.Infant Baptism
Infant Baptism is the sacrament by which a child is received into the Church, united to Christ, and cleansed from sin through water and the Holy Spirit. It is traditionally accompanied by Chrismation and Holy Communion, marking the child’s full participation in the life of the Church.
03.Confession
Confession is the sacrament of repentance in which a faithful Orthodox Christian confesses sins before God in the presence of a priest and receives absolution through prayer, reconciliation, and spiritual guidance.
04.Holy Matrimony
Holy Matrimony is the sacrament by which a man and a woman are united in a sacred and lifelong bond, blessed by the Church, and called to live together in faith, love, and mutual salvation in Christ.
05.Funeral Services
Funeral Services are the prayers and rites offered by the Church for the departed, commending their soul to God, seeking mercy and rest, and affirming the hope of resurrection and eternal life.
